Ferry service from Mull

The ferry from Oban to Craignure takes forty-five minutes. Cars need to check in at least 30 minutes before departure and booking is strongly recommended, especially during the summer season and on public holidays. Across Mull

It takes approximately one hour to drive across Mull from Craignure to Fionnphort where the ferry leaves for Iona. No visitor cars are allowed on Iona, but there is free car parking at the Columba Centre in Fionnphort, a few minutes from the ferry slipway.

There are buses which run from the ferry terminal in Craignure to the ferry terminal at Fionnphort which usually connect with the Mull and Iona ferries. For bus enquiries telephone Bowman's on 01631 563221 or visit www.bowmanstours.co.uk

Ferry to Iona

This is a ten minute journey across the Sound of Iona landing at the slipway in the village where we can collect you and your luggage. In winter, some ferries need to be reserved the day before travel.
