Cosy cottage accommodation on a working croft at the north end of the beautiful island of Iona. Sleeps 4 to 6.
Close to beaches and offering spectacular views to the tresnish islands.

Welcome
Lagandorain (the hollow of the otter) is a lovely spot. Situated at the north end of Iona and 2km from the village, the croft of Lagandrain extends from the beach of Traigh an t-Suidhe to the crags of Dun I, Iona's higest hill.

It is beautiful land, from the rocky outcrops below Dun I down through the flower meadows to the machair above the shore. The cottage has spectacular views to the north: past Staffa and the Treshnish Isle sand beyond Rhum to the distant Black Cullins of Skye.

Lagandorain is the last house on the island: beyond it, only islands scattering the sea. Even on a summer's day there are few people about and it is easy to wander and meet no-one. There is little to disturb the peace and the beach is a few minutes walk across the machair.
